	MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN INSURANCE (New & Pre-Owned Vehicles)
	The customer's vehicle is insured for breakdown of the major mechanical components, such as engine, gearbox, differential, drive shafts, steering, fuel system, and braking and cooling systems.
	The owner will however be liable for fair wear and tear, and also maintenance items, seals, wheel bearings, clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing, and overheating damage and the like.
	Autocare, in conjunction with the Automobile Association (AA) have created a unique product designed to enhance the Mechanical Breakdown Insurance package. As a valued policyholder you receive full AA Fleetcare Plus subscription for the duration of your policy. This means that you have access to an exclusive Unitrans helpline which will offer you one point of contact for the co-ordination of roadside assistance (AA Patrol Vehicle / Yellow Van Service) as well as the invaluable benefit of AA Stand By You in which case you will be provided with personal protection until help arrives. Help in the event of a medical emergency is also just a phone call away.
	Customers will also receive benefits to assist with the cost of hotel, towing expenses, and the provision of a rental vehicle. Legal services, mediation services, travel services, maps, road reports and travel documents are among the many other benefits available to you.

	OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS
	The Unitrans Autocare Warranty now offers customers the option of purchasing either, a Top-Up or Double-Up benefit,which will substantially enhance the already sizeable benefits the standard policy offers. The Top-Up option allows the customer to "increase" the current benefit limits of their Autocare Warranty by 50%, whereas the Double-Up option allows the customer to "double" the current benefit limits as offered in their Autocare Warranty policy. These benefit limits can be found in the Unitrans Autocare Warranty policy wording.

	Of necessity this document summarises the terms of the policy and its features and benefits. Full details of the insurance covers, and the exclusions and/or deductions thereunder, are set out in the policy document.
	WHEN YOU COLLECT YOUR VEHICLE AFTER REPAIR, CHECK THAT ALL WORK HAS BEEN PROPERLY COMPLETED. IF NOT SATISFACTORY, DO NOT ACCEPT THE VEHICLE AND ADVISE THE CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR IMMEDIATELY.
